Do you prefer to collaborate by offering your experience, ideas or contacts? You can become involved in one of our committees of collaborators that are we have created:

Experts’ Committee

If you are an expert in public health, medical research, international and tropical health, foreign affairs, development policies, etc. you can collaborate as a speaker in conferences, write articles and blog posts or offer lectures.

Communications Committee

Those who participate in this committee mainly collaborate by spreading our messages on social networks, blogs or through their contacts. But also through:

Writing tweets and blog posts.
Facilitating contacts with the media or distributing our press releases.
Participating in the organization through a public action, a conference, a mailing campaign, etc.

Institutional Relations Committee

If you share our goals, you can collaborate by connecting Salud por Derecho with key stakeholders, facilitating contacts and opening doors.

Fundraising Committee

You can offer ideas about how best to fundraise or become directly involved in the organization’s actions to increase our member and donor support.

The ideal of bringing about a change happens when someone backs that change through proposals and advocates for it on national and internacional decision-making bodies.

Being part of the change requires both ideas and people who defend those ideas. Salud por Derecho is the vehicle that puts forward these proposals for change, and acts as a watchdog to make sure the change happens. In doing so, we do not want to depend on pubic funding.

We were able to get the Spanish Government to pledge 600 million US dollars to the Global Fund for the Fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for the period 2008-2010. We have contributed to Spain’s having invested 11 million euros thus far to research for a vaccine and microbicides to prevent HIV/AIDS in the countries that are most affected by the disease.

Your modest financial contribution will lend a voice in the media to the drama unleashed by a lack of access to health in impoverished countries.

Your modest financial contribution will lead to initiatives to obtain answers from Members of Parliament in Spain or in the European Union and demand that Governments take the decisions needed to solve the problem and keep their promises.

What we do has real results. Each euro that you contribute has a multiplying effect on Governments action and investments.
