For many reasons.<\/p>\n<p>A year when our <strong>demand for greater and much needed transparency<\/strong> in pharmaceutical policy reached the courts, and when we brought to the public\u2019s notice important issues such as<strong> the enormous (and unfairly invisible) investment of public money in biomedical R+D.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Moreover, in 2019, we saw how, after almost a decade of absence, <strong>Spain announced its return to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria,<\/strong> something we had been working for a very long time and which boosts the fight against these pandemics at a crucial time.<\/p>\n<p>And of course, while Spain continues to deny access to healthcare for migrants (including pregnant women, minors, and older asylum seekers) we worked tirelessly to reverse this situation and ensure that <strong>everyone, regardless of their administrative situation, would be guaranteed access to healthcare. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It has been a year with many achievements that won\u00b4t be forgotten soon.
