Yesterday Advocacy Officer, Trinidad García, gave a class for first-year International Relations students at the European University of Madrid. This event was able to take place thanks to Professor Alana Moceri who has collaborated on several occasions with the Foundation.
The session focused primarily on explaining the work done by organizations dedicated to political influence in general, and more specifically, the work that we do here at Salud por Derecho. Students were able to learn about our main lines of action and how we work both at a local and international level in order to influence certain decisions that affect the Universal Right to Health. On the other hand, the class also explained the importance of international cooperation as another means which forms part of the field of international relations.
Students who attended the session showed special interest in the fight against HIV/AIDS and the work of the Global Fund.
