Access to health services and drugs are part of the right to health. However, millions of people around the world have seen their right to life violated because corporate profits are given precedence. Meanwhile, governments and international organizations, underpinned by the absence of transparency and mechanisms of accountability, adopt policies that go against the public interest.
At Salud por Derecho we create campaigns, formulate proposals and advocate from a social justice perspective to get states to assume overall responsibility for ensuring the right to health of all persons, regardless of where they live.
